Dry Eye Coach is pleased to welcome a new coach and Co-Medical Editor to the team: Dr. Tracy Doll, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Tracy Doll established and coordinates Pacific Dry Eye Solutions, an ocular surface dryness center of excellence at Pacific University College of Optometry. She performs direct care, as well as supervising 4th year optometry students and residents. As an assistant professor she also teaches in didactive courses for 1st through 4th year students, in the realms of ocular disease and procedures. She pioneered an advanced dry eye elective course giving students tools to focus in on ocular surface dryness as a specialty. To give back to her optometry students, Dr. Doll established her own free “dress for success” clothing closet charity, called “Doll’s Closet.” (the program is currently on hold due to COVID.)

Dr. Tracy Doll graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2006 and completed a residency with the Portland VA Medical Center in primary care in 2007. She began her teaching career in 2008, by creating a Spanish for the Optometric Clinician Course for Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Doll has a passion for lecturing, writing, and research on the topic of safe beauty for the eye. She is proud to serve on the American Academy of Optometry Anterior Segment Section leadership team and is a proud member of the Intrepid Eye Society.

In her free time, Dr. Doll enjoys exploring the Portland food and wine scene with her husband. She is also the dance mom of two hard working daughters who love math.
